🎓 Quality PLT

97% of grads feel ready for the legal profession. 100% course satisfaction in 2024.

Quality can be hit or miss – some providers focus on scale and speed over depth and student experience.

👩⚖️ Expert Mentors  Practising lawyers mentor you, providing real insights and personalised support.  You may not always be taught by practising lawyers – often it’s academic staff or tutors with limited real-world experience.
🏛️ Hands-On Training  Simulated law firm environment – completing authentic legal work by running client files.  Less hands-on. Training can feel broken up or theoretical, rather than resembling real legal work.
🤝 Work Placement  Placement arranged for you or guided support to find your own.  You’re often on your own when it comes to finding a placement, with little help from the provider.
💼 Practical Skills  Real advocacy, negotiation and client work. Skills law firms value.  Focus may stay on theory and written tasks, with fewer chances to practise real legal skills.
👥 Small Groups  More one-on-one attention and personalised feedback in small learning groups.  Large group sizes and pre-recorded content can make it harder to get personal feedback or feel supported.
🏆 Industry Reputation  Trusted by top firms and courts for more than 50 years. A strong reputation for developing job-ready graduates.  Some providers are less recognised within the profession and don’t have a strong reputation for delivering quality legal training.
🎯 Career Support  Support for 12 months post-grad. Personalised career support – job prep, applications and admission guidance.  Support may be limited to generic online tips, with little one-on-one support after you graduate.
