Georgina brings over 30 years of experience as a legal practitioner and dispute resolution specialist. She is also a highly experienced company director, having held key leadership roles across several not-for-profit and government sector boards. Georgina has served on the Leo Cussen Board since 2012, following her involvement with its predecessor organisation. With postgraduate legal training and a strong focus on governance and strategy, she offers a deep understanding of Leo Cussen and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
Rob Giles
Board Member + Audit & Risk Committee Chair
Rob is a senior executive with more than 35 years of experience across financial services. He has held CEO CFO COO and CRO roles and is known for his clear communication style and experience working with boards and regulators. Rob has been on the Leo Cussen Board since 2013 and brings deep commercial insight and a strong focus on integrity and governance.
Diane Pardo
Board Member + Audit & Risk Committee Member
Diane has over 30 years’ experience in investment management, holding senior executive roles in leading firms. Her senior roles and global responsibilities led to research driven opportunities throughout Asia, Europe London and Japan. She brings a deep knowledge of capital markets, portfolio and risk management strategies and strong financial management capabilities to Leo Cussen. Diane is an experienced company director with strong expertise in governance, strategy, compliance, and financial oversight, developed across complex regulated environments. Her experience supports Leo Cussen’s commitment to strong governance, clear strategy and sustainable long term performance.
Karin Clark
Board Member
Karin has worked in privacy compliance and held senior roles across several commercial practice areas. She holds a Master of Laws from Harvard University and first class honours degrees in Arts (Economics) and Law. Karin has been on the Leo Cussen Board since 2013 and brings deep experience in legal practice and governance.
Michelle Power
Board Member
Michelle has more than 30 years of experience as a solicitor, including 23 years as a partner at MinterEllison where she held senior leadership roles and led key training and development programs. She is an accredited mediator and Director of Power Mediation & Advisory. Michelle joined the Leo Cussen Board to support the next generation of lawyers and brings strong experience in leadership, education and professional development.
Amanda Scardamaglia
Board Member
Amanda is a Professor in Law and Chair of the Academic Senate at Swinburne University of Technology where she oversees the academic governance of the University. Amanda also sits on the University Council at Swinburne University of Technology. She was previously the Dean of Swinburne Law School. Amanda holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Law along with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts. She has also completed the AICD Company Directors Course. Her experience in governance education and developing law students brings valuable insight to the Leo Cussen Board supporting its focus on preparing the next generation of lawyers.
George Botros
Board Member
George is a Director (Law) at Blue Rock Law and an experienced immigration lawyer with almost a decade of practice. George works with businesses and individuals across Melbourne and throughout Australia, advising on complex migration pathways and compliance with Department of Home Affairs requirements. In addition to his role on the Leo Cussen Board, George serves as a Board Member of the BeBlueRock Foundation, which inspires philanthropy to build strong communities and supports individuals, families and businesses to create meaningful charitable impact. He brings to Leo Cussen a strong commitment to access to justice, professional development and the next generation of legal practitioners.
