Silvio is a Lawyer and Mentor at Leo Cussen Centre for Law. He works with our PLT Law Grads in Queensland and is passionate about mentoring.
Before Leo Cussen
After completing Articles, Silvio was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1989. He practised as a Solicitor in both national and medium size firms.
Silvio commenced his own practice in 1994 which he ran for 13 years before merging into, and joining as a partner in the property and commercial law section of a large regional law firm in 2007 specialising in the areas of property development and leasing. Silvio acts for a wide variety of clients from developers, commercial property owners, shopping centre owners and small business operators. During his time in practice Silvio has supervised young graduates and lawyers through the firm.
Whilst mentoring at Leo Cussen, Silvio runs his own practice which he commenced in 2022 focusing on property and commercial law primarily continuing to act for developers, retail shopping centre landlords and small business operators who he has worked with for over 30 years and continue to seek his advice.

Currently holds a Queensland Practising Certificate.
Achievements/Special Interests
Silvio has a particular interest in continuing to mentor young lawyers which he developed during his time in private practice.
Outside Leo Cussen
Silvio speaks fluent Italian and enjoys Italian food. He is a dual citizen of Australia and Italy and although the majority of Silvio’s family live in Italy, he maintains a close connection with his Italian Heritage. He intends to go to Italy one day to research his family history.
