Concurrent Study - Leo Cussen

New South Wales

In NSW, you can apply to the Legal Profession Admission Board for concurrent study, to start your PLT early if you have:

• Completed all your Priestley 11 units
• You have no more than two electives remaining in your law degree or double degree
• Are currently enrolled in your remaining university unit/s

We will need a copy of your concurrent study approval on or before census date.

If you receive your results prior to census date, you will not need to apply for concurrent study.

Western Australia

In WA, you can apply to the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia (LPBWA) for concurrent study, to start your PLT early if you have:

• Completed all your Priestley 11 units
• You have no more than two electives remaining in your law degree or double degree
• Are currently enrolled in your remaining university unit/s

We will need a copy of your concurrent study approval by the Thursday before the PLT start date.

Victoria

In VIC, you can apply to the Victorian Legal Admission Board (VLAB) for concurrent study, to start your PLT early if you have:

• Completed all your Priestley 11 units
• You have no more than two electives and 30 days professional placement remaining in your law degree or double degree
• Are currently enrolled in your remaining university unit/s

We will need a copy of your concurrent study approval by the Thursday before the PLT start date.

Queensland

In QLD, you can apply to the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board Queensland for concurrent study, to start your PLT early if you have:

• Completed all your Priestley 11 units
• You have no more than two electives remaining in your law degree or double degree
• Are currently enrolled in your remaining university unit/s

We will need a copy of your concurrent study approval by the Thursday before the PLT start date.

Australian Capital Territory

In the ACT, you can apply to the Legal Practitioners Admission Board for concurrent study, to start PLT early if you have:

• Completed all your Priestley 11 units
• You have no more than two electives remaining in your law degree or double degree
• Are currently enrolled in your remaining university unit/s
• Exceptional circumstances and reason for requesting concurrent study

We will need a copy of your concurrent study approval by the Thursday before the PLT start date.

South Australia

In SA, you can apply to the Board of Examiners for concurrent study, to start your PLT early if you have:

• Completed all your Priestley 11 units
• You have no more than two electives remaining in your law degree or double degree
• Are currently enrolled in your remaining university unit/s

We will need a copy of your concurrent study approval on or before census date.

If you receive your results prior to census date, you will not need to apply for concurrent study.
