At Leo Cussen

Lucinda is a Mentor in Practical Legal Training, working with trainees in the onsite course. As part of her role, Lucinda teaches in small group sessions with trainees at the commencement of the course, and at times throughout the course.


Before Leo Cussen

Lucinda commenced legal practice in family law and advocacy. Lucinda has worked in private practice and in federal government departments, including the former Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Lucinda has worked as a tutor. She has tutored students in a range of settings, including at Queen’s College, The University of Melbourne, and for private tutoring companies.


Achievements/Special Interests

Lucinda is a former president of the ACT Young Lawyers Committee. She has also been actively involved in the Law Institute of Victoria Young Lawyers Section.

Lucinda has a particular interest in education and mentoring students. She encourages her students to proactively look after their mental health and wellbeing .

Outside of work, Lucinda enjoys getting outside in nature.
